From lawn mowing to dog walking to being a barista or a tutor, there is never a shortage of fun jobs to do! Though the movie may not be everyone’s cup of tea and is certainly not for kids (18 or older only!), it dares to be bold and daring and that it is okay to be different and just be yourself.

Roller skating may be an easier thing to do than ice skating—four wheels is simpler than one blade! Typically during skate sessions they will also play games and have disco lights.
Life is too short to hold yourself back from experiencing new things just because of fear or anxiety. So, hike up that mountain peak, go on that roller coaster or swim in the ocean.
11. Create a YouTube Video
Is there a popular dance that you’ve always wanted to learn? Well, now is your chance to do so! You can check out some dance tutorials on how to perform these, or you can also make your own dance choreography.
Pajama parties are an enjoyable event as well as a rite of passage for teenagers. Sleepovers open up opportunities to develop more memories with your friends: Whether for summer fun, a birthday party, or maybe just something to do during your holiday vacation.

Considered to be one of the greatest musical films of all time, The Rocky Horror Picture Show has developed a cult following since it aired during the late 1970s as a midnight movie.
Face painting, spinning teacups and caramel apples—who doesn’t love a good carnival? There is something for everyone so every teenager can enjoy it. You can also play some games and see who is the first to win a prize.
17. Drastically Change Your Hair/Dye Your Hair
Bring out your inner craftsman by doing some arts and crafts projects. You can set up your DIY Craft Night and materials on a kitchen table and try out some things, like coloring or painting, doing origami butterflies or flowers, anything!
This might look like a childish thing to do, but I can guarantee that it’s not! Reading the letter written by your old self will remind you of the things that have changed since then. It can be your expectations of the future, your goals and your dreams, and if you are still aligned with those.

Can you confidently say that you know your city in and out? If Travel & Leisure was to contract you to write a guide to your city, would you do it justice? Take the time to visit more than just your usual hangout places. There is more to life than hanging out at the bowling alley and the mall.
You might think that Comic-Con is only for the die-hard fans, but it certainly is not! Even if you are a casual fan, it is something you should experience at least once. It is not surprising to see people cosplaying as their favorite character, not to mention the fun programs and awesome merch around. Be sure to bring your camera with you so that you can take a snap of your favorite characters as well!
19. Get a Job
Whether it be doing a bodyweight-only routine or doing a different workout split, a new workout routine ensures that you are constantly challenging your body. It also opens you up to new exercises or techniques that you have not done before.
20. Get Straight A’s for a Semester
Every big amusement park in the world seems to be equipped with at least one roller coaster these days that’s absolutely wild in how steep it can get or how fast it can go. Oftentimes it’s a combination of both! If you’re a thrill seeker, try to find the scariest roller coaster possible to tackle next. And if you’re one of those who’s been too fearful to get on that one particular scary roller coaster, now’s your chance to right that wrong!
It may be messy, but we can’t deny that food fights are a lot of fun! Since impromptu food fights will get you in a bit of trouble (especially at school), organizing one is a great way to go about this instead.
21. Get the High Score on a Video Game
The point is, you learn more when you read these wonderful classics than you do gazing at your phone. Plus, they will give you some culture and conversation ideas when you get older.
22. Go 24 Hours without Internet, Radio or Television
What is more fun than making memories yourself? Doing it with your besties, of course! Having a photoshoot with your best friends is definitely a great one to add to your teen bucket list.

23. Go Backpacking with a Friend

This is one of those fun things to do at home or on a rainy day that most of us haven’t done since we were children! You don’t find too many opportunities where you can concentrate on one thing, so be present and let everything else in your mind go. That alone will be worth every minute.

Truth or dare is definitely a staple for teens and a great game to do, especially in gatherings or party settings. Not only will you get to know each other better, but it can also lead to some memorable and funny moments. Just remember to respect each other’s boundaries while playing!

Your school might be conducting foreign languages classes, so this is a great way to start your language learning journey! If you want more self-paced learning, apps like Duolingo are easily accessible on our mobile phones (that’s what I’ve been using to learn Spanish). As our world becomes more interconnected, it’s always good to learn another language or two.

45. Have a BBQ Party
Sometimes life gets stressful and there’s nothing better than taking an entire day to relax with your friends or your family. Decide you need some pampering and go book that spa day, either at a local spa or make it an overnight trip over the weekend to a great spa in a different region.
What better way to cool off, especially on a hot summer day, than a trip to a waterpark? Waterparks offer so many things for teenagers to do that you won’t get at the beach, such as enjoying the thrill of going down slides, chilling in the wave pool or lazy river, jumping off a diving board, and so much more!
46. Have a Food Fight
It gives a certain feel of independence since you have your own savings account. You’ll also be more eager to save up for the things that you want to buy.
Now, I know, this is a tall order. We use the internet for everything nowadays. But think about it. When was the last time you went for two hours without your phone? Try going 24 hours without internet, radio or TV.

After all, if it turns out you don’t like it, it will grow back. Or for something less scary, try some colorful (and temporary) hair chalk instead.

One way of doing this is by starting it out as a poem. Then if you have a beat or melody inside your head, you can try humming it with the one you’ve written and adjust things from there.

This can also be a chance to learn how to skate on the ice if you haven’t done this before. And though it may look similar to roller skating, you’ll feel the difference once you’re in the ice rink, so give it a shot!

It may sound cliché, but prom is indeed one of the most memorable nights you can experience as a teen.
Mud runs are a great way to test and push yourself while still having fun in the process. It involves going on a military-like obstacle course, and as you can imagine from the name, there’s plenty of mud around!
Both Blogger.com and WordPress.com offer free blogs with easy setup, all you have to do is come up with something creative to talk about. Some of the most popular blog topics are Money, Travel, Food, Mommyhood, Technology and Celebrity Gossip. Put a new spin on any of these things and start writing!

Determine what’s close to your heart and then make a decision to make a difference today. Plus, it’s a bonus that you can impress future employers with your volunteer work on your resume.

96. Try a New Food
You haven’t lived until you’ve experienced wilderness and gone backpacking. Grab an adventurous friend or two and take on Mother Nature. You can do something as simple as visit the local park or the neighboring county. Or plan a few nearby day treks, and check “sleep under the stars” off your teen bucket list at the same time.
If you’re planning to go to college or already have one in mind, consider doing a college visit. Since you’ll be spending the next few years with them, it’s better to get to know the lay of the land!
97. Tour a College Campus
Especially on the summer and fall evenings, shaving a bonfire is a lovely way to finish off a day. You can even do it the same day you’re checking off a beach day from your teen bucket list. It’s totally possible to do this alone, but having some friends there with you to experience it only makes it all the more special.
I know, right? Why would you want to handwrite a letter while you can simply Snapchat them or send them a DM? The thing about writing letters is that it is more personal plus you have more than just 140 characters to work with while crafting the message.
98. Visit a Farmer’s Market
Go camping; sit and read a good book; talk to your friends and family or use the time to complete some of the ideas on this teenage bucket list.
99. Visit a Nearby City That You Have Never Been To
Maybe cookies are more of your ideal treat while at home? Baking cookies can get a little messy, but who doesn’t like a home filled with smiling faces and the smells of fresh-baked cookies? It doesn’t matter whether it’s snickerdoodles, oatmeal raisin or simple chocolate chips, spend an entire day just baking. The one who does the most work gets to lick the spoon!
Nobody may know your taste in partners better than one of your friends! So if you are ever single and ready to mingle, why not have someone set you up on a blind date? Even if nothing long lasting comes out of it, it might make for a fun story to recount over some wine.
100. Volunteer
Of course, be sure to respect their boundaries as well. Don’t be kissing anyone that doesn’t want to be kissed!
A more common thing for teens to do is to pop a frozen meal into the microwave. But, you will definitely impress your friends if you learn how to expertly cook your favorite meal.

102. Walk Barefoot on the Beach
We are talking about places in the next county over—somewhere you can drive to and from within a few hours.
Origami is a big part of the Japanese culture and it truly is fascinating how little tiny pieces of paper can be crafted into beautiful pieces of artwork. The crane is one of the most popular shapes and you can fairly easily learn how to make one. There are countless videos and instructions online and below are two that worked for me.
Do you have a friend or family member whose birthday is coming up? Or maybe something big came up that warrants a party? Whatever the cause for celebration is, why not make their day by throwing them a surprise party!
103. Watch the Sunrise & Sunset
Instead of going to the grocery store to buy your favorite ice cream flavor, set up shop and make some at home. And making your own is not as hard as it may seem. The trick is to perfect the basics, then expand on it by adding different flavors. If ice cream seems too complicated, try making fun flavored popsicles, like Blueberry Vanilla Yogurt. Yum!

But flipping on a trampoline isn’t something all of us can do, so why not make it a fun challenge for yourself to learn how to flip on a trampoline, and then do it?!

Themed 5k marathons are a wonderful way to not only bring the community together for a common course, but to also show off your extreme levels of fitness and fun loving nature. Make sure the theme is something fun, like a mud run (check Active’s 5k Race Finder for ideas). It’d be a bonus if running the 5k was to support a local organization.
