The Ultimate List Of Things To Do in Sardinia!
Costa Smeralda Is considered one of the most expensive areas in Sardinia (if not the most expensive), BUT… at age 19, as a penniless student, I was still able to stroll around the enchanting Porto Cervo, sipping a drink on the pier while watching the luxury Yatches in the marina. NOTE: CALA MARIOLU RESTRICTIONS UPDATE 2019/2020: From 2018, to avoid hordes of tourists overcrowding the beach in high season (and also low season if the weather holds), the boats stopping in Cala Mariolu have been reduced and the tourists can only stay 3 hours max. Before this rule was applied, it was possible to ask the captain of your boat to stay the whole day and get picked up at the end of the trip. Not anymore. As previously stated, you can dive in Cala Mariolu, so if you already have the license, bring it with you, or pay to get certified on the spot. Bonus, they will give you a pen drive with a video and pictures of your experience! BACK TO LIST
